Charity match drawn 2-2


Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were on target as Real Madrid and Seleccion de Murcia played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in a charity match on Wednesday evening.The game was arranged at the Nueva Condomina in an effort to raise support for the victims of the earthquake-hit town of Lorca and proved to be a lively affair in front of 32,000 spectators, reports goal.com.Benzema broke the deadlock two minutes into the second-half but Pepe equalized for the local side just five minutes later when he put the ball into his own goal.Murcia then took the lead on 64 minutes through Meca, but Ronaldo leveled the score just minutes after being sent through by Kaka."This kind of gesture during hard times can cheer people up and bring them hope," said Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso after the match.
